Admiral provides a wide range of office technology solutions for the 21st century. A privately owned organisation, the Admiral Group has experienced phenomenal growth since its formation in 1996. It now has an annual turnover in excess of £30 million and has recently acquired new business departments including property services and support. Admiral asked m4 to initially focus on designing and developing the existing corporate website content to reflect the expansion and specialist areas of the business.
Working within the existing client CMS system, Sitecore, m4 proposed and designed a series of sites which would link back to the main corporate site, and which covered in detail each specialist area of business solutions that Admiral offer. Utilising abstract images and retaining the core brand identity, the sites were developed and built. Unique URLs were adopted, reflecting that particular aspect of the business and copy was written to get across key messages and also for SEO optimisation.
Four microsites were developed and traffic was targeted by html and direct mail offers to a specific landing page within each area of expertise. The client is able to update content themselves through the CMS system, making this a more cost effective tool for the company. Having now completed the specialist sites, m4 are now in the process of redesigning and rebuilding the corporate web site for launch early in 2011.
