Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies are specialists in engineered solutions and turnkey design/build projects for the water industry. VWS needed a new, confident and informative advertising style to support the sales efforts and raise the profile of the brand and to differentiate the Veolia brand from its competitors based on the key corporate and technical strengths of the company. The advertising was to position Veolia as an aspirational and modern brand name amongst targeted specifiers.

VWS were looking for evidence that the appointed agency should be enthusiastic about bringing fresh ideas and new initiatives to the table to help drive the advertising programme over and above the basic programme. m4 produced a series of concepts covering different product areas including creative, copywriting and production. As part of the proposals, m4 created a vector illustration style and designed a template that allowed the client to apply a similar treatment to any product area.

The campaign went live in in the specialist trade press and online marketing. Trade ads were measured by click through rate to the landing pages which increased by 25% over the first quarter of the media plan.
